I moved to Atlanta in April 2018 at a time local housing market inventory was at record low. To make it more complicated I had unconventional and unique requirements. For 4 months, Gary took me house after house at moments notice, each time patiently explain everything, objectively pointing out the good and the bad. There are times I was overwhelmed by frustration, Gary's laid-back confidence and experience ultimately conveyed a sense of certainly when things looked grim and daunting. What sets Gary apart completely from all the others is his unwavering integrity and honesty. Gary will stand up for you even when his personal interest is at stake. When I had second thoughts on a house with big price tag but could not make up my mind to pull the trigger, Gary realized the house is not my ideal and pulled the offer for me! Through the time working with Gary I have grown to trust Gary completely, which is rare as I am cynical person. The more I trusted Gary, the more effective we became a team. Gary navigated all sorts of rough water with me when there is legal deeds problem, when houses had structural problems, Gary sought thorough legal consultation to make sure I was protected by contract. Gary made sure I had termite bonds, septic certification, and all the other local things I didn't know existed. Gary negotiated for me with authority and achieved great results. In the end I landed on my perfect house, it is everything I could imagine initially, and much beyond. The experience with Gary was simply incredible. It changed my perspective on certain things. Through this bumpy journey I came to the realization it is quite impossible find a better real estate agent, or a greater human being than Gary.
My husband and I have submitted two letters to describe our experience with Gary from our two different perspectives. We were first time home-buyers, and I was very nervous. I had heard plenty of horror stories about how stressful and frustrating a process buying a house was. We talked to a few realtors who seemed OK, but made us feel as though we were merely another sale for them. Then we discovered Gary, and I am so grateful we did.He made me feel comfortable from the start, and the feeling grew throughout the process. He demonstrated both a genuine determination to help us get something we were truly happy with, and also expertise both as a realtor and a business man. We knew that he took the seriousness of the decision and the amount of our money involved personally, as if we were his own family. We were also confident that he would fight on our behalf to get the best possible price. He is an excellent negotiator as well as a wealth of information about houses and the real estate game. He answered all our questions, sometimes taking time to check with the group of experts he has aligned himself with. He lets you take the reins instead of forcing his ideas on you. He will offer his opinion if asked but makes it clear everything is your decision. He was gentle with us, but capable of being an aggressive negotiator. Not only did we get the house of our choosing (perfect for what we were looking for, extremely well cared for and in a great location), but we got it for a great price. He even directed us to an excellent deal on homeowners insurance. Because of Gary, the process was fairly stress-free, surprisingly smooth and rewarding.THANKS, GARY!
When we decided to buy a home here in Georgia, we started to do the research on different web sites, study different blogs especially the ones titled “First time home buyers...” But everything made the home buying process look like a tedious one and we were little scared. Then a friend of ours referred his real estate agent who helped him to buy his wonderful home. It’s Gary.Gary was so prompt in arranging a get-to-know meeting. We were totally impressed the first day we met him. He explained the whole process of home buying. We asked a lot of “First time home buyers” questions; he answered so patiently, however silly the question may be! We felt confident enough to move forward in the home buying process with Gary alongside as our real estate agent. The best thing about Gary, he effortlessly exceeded our expectations as we travelled through. He setup an account for us in Listingbook, which has all resources at one place to research about the house, its location, schools, neighborhood, etc. We will browse the houses listed for sale and give the shortlisted list to Gary for scheduling. He will reply back promptly with the schedule of the house tour. We have seen several houses and Gary was so patient showing all the homes. No Pressure, always smiling is his best charm. After the tour of every home, Gary will ask for feedback of the home and when we ask for his feedback, he will give us pretty straight feedback, but did not push us towards any decisions. The honest feedbacks from Gary meant a lot to us, so we know we are in correct path of choosing a right home. Gary’s professional knowledge and experience helped us make an informed decision, though we are buying home for the first time. The moment we finalized our home, Gary was so quick in preparing the offer docs and he was on top of all the paper works, home inspection, contingency clause… to make sure that we get that home with no issues. He used to send us reminders about important dates, call us and keep us informed of every stage we are in. Till we signed the closing paper works, Gary was so keen in making sure no surprises at last minute.Wow! We are now a proud home owner. Without Gary we are not sure if we would have had such a memorable home buying experience! Thanks to Gary. The one thing we like the most about Gary, he doesn’t stop his service at the closing table, he extends the service beyond it. He is helping us till date - be it any references for house maintenance or just a simple question, and he is always there to help us! Even if he doesn’t have answers, he reaches out to his contacts and gets us the answer. Simply, THE BEST!With no doubt, he will always be our real estate agent. We will be pleased to recommend Gary to our friends, family and anyone who is looking for a real estate agent. We are positive Gary will give you the same cherishing experience like ours.Best wishes!
I recently sold my home with the help of Gary Mesnick. Gary fully understood the process involved to get the house sold quickly (2 days) and with as little complications as possible. There is no one else I would trust to do a better job with an investment as important as the sale of your own home.Within just couple days of the offer, Gary was able to negotiate a complicated sale agreement and get the property closed in just a few weeks. Considering the house sold for near $500,000, I don’t believe we could of wished for a better result.
I have heard numerous nightmare stories about home buying from my friends, I was thinking all those were true until I met Gary. In fact everyone in my family including my 3 year old love Gary. His exemplary service and professionalism are one of the greatest positives. During our home search we went through several listings, shortlisted quite a few from them and would give the list to Gary for showing. Without asking any questions Gary will schedule all the showings and will confirm us within hours. We were surprised how he is able to do this so quick. Also, he is always smiling irrespective of how bad/good we choose a house for showing. We went to lot of showings and always his words would be - There is nothing right or wrong everything is an experience in your home buying and be happy that you are learning new things. That was a big optimistic statement that kept us going throughout our home search.I had a unique employment situation that posed a challenge to get financing. We submitted an offer for a home and when everything was going well I heard that my loan is rejected. Gary was with us all through this time providing us additional lender contacts. In fact one of Gary's contacts helped us in our lending and we were able to get financing for the second home that we submitted an offer. Thank you Gary for all you have done throughout this home search exercise.note - :-) My son is so used to meeting Gary in new houses, whenever we go to a new house/friend's place he says its Gary's house.
There aren't enough words to say how pleased we are with the services provided by Gary Mesnick. As first-time home buyers in a busy market, the process was very overwhelming at times. Gary always made sure he did what he could to make the process as stress-free as possible. We always felt that Gary had our best interests at heart. We never felt pressured to purchase and Gary always made sure to provide us with any knowledge he could regarding properties we were interested in.From the beginning of our search, Gary made it clear that he would keep showing us houses until we found "the one". Fortunately, our search only took a couple of months, but our home is truly "the one".Gary is a tough negotiator, and went above and beyond to make sure we got the best deal possible.Gary was always available when we needed him, and if we ever had any questions or concerns, he always made sure we knew all of our options and made everything very easy to understand. Gary kept us updated every step of the way through our purchase, and there was never a time where we felt like we were in the dark. You'll be in good hands if you use Gary Mesnick's services. He excels at what he does, and really does work for you. Gary provided first class service, and made us feel like we were his only clients. We can't recommend him enough. Choosing to work with Gary for the purchase of our first home was a very smart decision.
We are from Michigan and due to work reasons, we were relocating to Atlanta. We lived in a condo in Michigan, so this is our first single family home purchase. Without knowing lot of folks in Atlanta, we researched in Angie’s list and narrowed down 3 real estate agents, Gary Mesnick being one of them. Of all 3 agents, Gary was very prompt in getting back to us. And he gave lot of references from his previous clients and got us setup within a day in the ListingBook site, so we started getting the listings right away. Rest of the agents were not responsive or late or when they did call back, seem to have their own agenda/interest, instead of understanding what we were looking. Gary on the contrary, gave some good feedback, got us setup to get listings so fast, so we decided to not even talk to ANY other agents. We short listed 8-10 houses to visit and informed Gary that we will visit Atlanta during the memorial weekend. Being a long weekend, we were worried about Gary’s availability and the sellers’ availability. But Gary cleared his calendar up and dedicated 1 and ½ days completely for us. When we met first Gary in our hotel the first day, he spent an hour or so to explain his background and gave us some good info on home buyer “gotchas”. In this interaction, Gary was very informative and not at all pushy. His wealth of experience and his passion towards this Real estate business was very evident. He was very particular that everyone should win, in any type of interaction or business. Then when we went and saw the houses, he would let us look through it and form our own opinion and ask for feedback. Then he gave his insightful and fact based feedback about the house, we learned a lot from Gary. And when we finalized the house we want to put down the offer, Gary provided comps and gave his professional opinion on our offer price. And during the offer/contingency/acceptance period, Gary was on top of getting the papers to me for signature and was ALWAYS available for questions. Even when the seller’s agent was not on top of things, Gary made up for that also. When we were worried about one issue in this house, Gary went above and beyond to get some professional opinion from a siding company and also gave his feedback too. When we came to Atlanta for closing, Gary extended his availability to pick us from airport or hotel and made sure everything went smooth. And after we moved in, he called us after 2-3 days to check if everything is ok. Even now (a month after closing), if we have questions about house maintenance, I call Gary and he still have the same level of promptness and courtesy. And Gary gave us the list of lenders to choose from and he had good references for other services as well.My wife and I are thankful to Gary in helping us buy this house and we feel, we have a good friend who we can call upon for any other challenges that might come up in owning this house. We strongly recommend Gary to any home buyer or seller, you will not get anyone who is even close to Gary. Satisfaction, Friendly approach, Strong industry knowledge and Courteousness is what you will experience, if you chose Gary Mesnick!!
We needed a quick sale for our house and Gary delivered. Throughout the entire process he was thorough and extremely professional. His experience showed beginning with his initial presentation in which he explained his philosophy and approach to selling a house and helped us identify our goals, and then outlining all of the steps that we would take along the way. He was always prompt returning calls and we were able to count on him to follow through with any request we had. He very quickly found a buyer for our house and deftly guided us through the negotiation of price and inspection process. There were several repairs required to our house prior to the closing and Gary scheduled professionals to come out and give estimates, and he helped us to choose the right people to do the repairs. Finally, and very importantly, Gary has a great personality, is very easy, even fun, to work with and made the entire process as painless as possible. We would definitely use him as our agent again in the future, and would recommend him to anyone.
Gary Mesnick has been great! I'm in the process of organizing my cousins house to put up for sale and Gary has been with me every step of the way. From how to arrange furniture to what to keep in the house and what to take out. He's been very patience and understanding with me since this is a bitter sweet decision to sale the house due to my cousin’s illness. I will recommend Gary Mesnick to all of my family and friends!
We used Gary Mesnick and his Maximum One Realty team to sell our home in Sugar Hill GA in 2017. Gary was able to obtain multiple offers on our home within months of the home being listed for sale. We used two other realtors the prior 9 months and did not sell the home so made the switch to Gary in early 2017. We should have selected him earlier as he proved to be very good at his job. He and his team excel at marketing, market knowledge, sale of home knowledge and all other key aspects of being a real estate agent. Further, he proved to be the most proactive and capable realtor we have ever used to sell a home (we've done so five times now).
This being our first house hunt/purchase, we really didn’t know what to expect when we began the process. We tried our best to read first-time home buyer books and did an insane amount of research on the internet. We stumbled upon Gary on Angie’s List and were very impressed with his ratings/feedback. We had been looking on Trulia for months and had a good idea of what we were looking for, so when we sat down with Gary and he explained that we had the house hunt in our hands, we knew he was right for us. We thought all realtors picked the houses to view and this made us nervous. Being able to browse the FMLS/List Book websites and select the houses that fit our family was easy, time-saving and exactly our style. Gary set up all of the showings and was completely honest at every single one. He always arrived early to drive around the neighborhoods and walk through the houses before we checked it all out.He advised us when he saw potential issues with a house and guided us through the entire negotiation process when we finally found the house of our dreams! He was meticulous with reminder emails; letting us know about upcoming appointments, things to be done, and tips for the first-time buyer. He even came with recommended lenders and home insurance companies, which was amazing because we did not have a great experience with these two home-buying aspects until we called his guys!We think the thing that shocked us the most is all of the above-and-beyond things Gary did once we found our home! He had a few issues with the seller’s agent, so he took extra steps to ensure that nothing possible would delay our closing…even driving out to the house a couple of days before closing to make certain it was in sound condition after the tenants left. We signed the agreement for purchase on February 2, 2013 and the home was ours on February 28, 2013!Honestly, we made the right choice when we chose Gary as our realtor. It truly says something when you enter your home for the first time once the ink has dried on the purchase papers and your 2-year old son says “Where’s Gary?”. He is a great realtor, but even more than that, a stand-up guy. We strongly recommend Gary Mesnick as a Realtor if you are looking for someone to be honest and not try to sell you on the wrong house! He’ll let you run the show, but give you all of the advice you may need to select the perfect home.
Gary Mesnick took care of all aspects of selling my house to meet my desired timeline. Gary Mesnick is a Superb Real Estate Agent, with many years of experience. A friend highly recommended him to me when I mentioned, in casual conversation, that I wanted to hire a good "Seller's Real Estate Agent." I had a target month by which I wanted to sell my house so that I could relocate to another State during the late summer months. Had I known that Gary would provide a huge amount of advice and assistance to me before we entered into a contract, I would have called him 2 months before the time that I first contacted him. On our first meeting, he presented a notebook Powerpoint presentation of current real estate market statistics, advice, and his services and marketing strategy. He answered all questions and left a "Pre-Sale Package" designed for my needs (a portfolio of his marketing action plan, his steps for selling a house quickly, and a Cancellation Guarantee).First of all, I was advised to make sure that my house was, or would be, in tip-top condition and that all major systems were in excellent condition. That took a good bit of time on my part. Next we had professionals inspect the house and provide a fair market price estimate. Then, Gary and I signed a contract for his services to sell the house. When my house was Listed, a Buyer offered a contract bid within 4 days! At 6 days, I signed a Binding Contract to sell the house. What an amazing thing, to see how well the house "showed" to potential buyers (according to other real estate agents) and how fast the house went under contract. My house sale was Closed a couple of weeks before the target date that I discussed with Gary!My friend has employed Gary at different times as a Buyer's Agent, and as a Seller's Agent, and the friend has always been very happy with Gary's services. From my perspective, Gary is an excellent "Seller's Agent" and negotiator.
When I recently decided to sell my condominium, I wasn't expecting a quick sale and I certainly wasn't expecting asking price. Values have been depressed in my neighborhood for nearly ten years. Homes languished on the market for up to year before selling at less than acceptable prices (or not selling at all). As it turns out, I had nothing to worry about.Gary Mesnick is an exceptional real estate agent. It's difficult to put in words how helpful he was. He didn't simply show up, look at comps, give me a sale price, and hope the home sold. He was active and fully involved during every step of the process. This included a very thorough pre-sale regimen that helped us determine the true value of the home, prepare for inspection issues, and target legitimate buyers. I was blown away, when after two days on the market, we had five offers and accepted one at full price! Oh, and the price we sold at...the highest in the community in ten years. You can't go wrong with Gary!
Gary helped us successfully purchase a great house in Roswell. Since this was our first home purchase, we had many questions about finding the right home. In our first meeting, Gary walked us through the entire home buying process and patiently answered all of our questions. He took time to understand our needs, likes and dislikes. We immediately felt comfortable with him and relied heavily upon his advice and opinion throughout the home buying process. We looked at many houses before we put our offer, but he was very patient and never forced us into making a hasty decision. In fact, he gave great advice as to what we should look for in a house and what we should avoid. He was extremely knowledgeable about what would make our offer stand out in today’s extremely challenging market. We put three offers all together, and all offers were meticulously detailed. After sending us an offer to review, Gary would always follow up with a call to make sure we understood everything that was written in the offer. We never had to worry that something was going to slip through the cracks. Gary is very dependable and you can always rely on his recommendations. After we purchased our house, we wanted to renovate our kitchen. Having traveling jobs, we weren’t sure if we were going to find a reliable contractor. Gary not only recommended his kitchen contractor but also invited us to his house to see how well of a job his contractor had done. We were impressed with the work, so we went with the same contractor, and I am pleased to say that our kitchen looks great. The expertise, timely communication and care shown for his clients makes Gary an excellent realtor whom we would recommend in a heartbeat! It was a great experience working with Gary and we forward to working with him again in the future.
Wow - where do I start? I've purchased four homes in the past 32 years and Gary was by far the most involved, supportive, helpful and most effective agent with whom I worked. Ever! From the very start, where he coached me through the 10 things to do to sell a house to the closing, Gary was always there and eager to represent my best interest. All of his advice was right on and I always felt he had my back. Two things Gary suggested that were invaluable was for me to have my own home inspection and my own appraisal done before listing the house for sale. This gave me the opportunity to identify and make repairs BEFORE LISTING and to set the selling price. As a result, the actual buyer paid slightly less than the asking price and his inspection was almost flawless. If you don't use Gary as your agent, you are making a mistake! Don't make that mistake!
I met Gary Mesnick in the late 70’s or early 80’s. Gary and his real agent put a contract on one of my listings. Gary had his own computer company at the time. We had some problems with Gary’s Real Estate Agent and with his Loan Officer, but did get the listing closed. A few years later, Gary called me to list his home and I was asked to shop around for a home for him and Ellen who were engaged. I sold Gary’s house and found a home that he and Ellen liked. Gary and I became good friends after he bought my listing. My husband and I have shared many family affairs with them. After retiring from 33 years in the Real Estate business, my husband had a rental property that he wanted to sell, the property had some problems and was not an easy property to sell. Gary and I wanted to be completely honest about the problems that this house had. Gary has established a reputation as being an extremely honest person and above board agent. We closed the property and I can tell you, it was not an easy property to sell. Gary is respected by his customers and his fellow agents.Gary is a super agent, he works for his seller when he is the listing agent and for his buyers when they are in the market for a house. He is an excellent negotiator and well respected by fellow agents. We highly respect Gary as a close friend and a great realtor.
Gary Mesnick served as our Buyer's Real Estate Agent in purchasing a home in the Greater Atlanta area. The process could not have gone any more smoothly in all respects. Gary is a true real estate professional who is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of real estate and the local market. Beyond being bright and knowledgeable, the thing I liked best about Gary is his patience and low pressure approach. He will not try to pressure you into making a sale for his benefit and is prepared to go at your pace. He makes you feel special and as if you were his only client. The services he provides go well beyond the basic real estate transaction as he gave me expert advice on things like the mortgage process, home inspectors, contractors, etc. He made himself available to us days, nights, and weekends. It was not uncommon for us to have lengthy conversations well beyond normal working hours. Gary also has a process and system THAT WORKS. He manages all the minute details behind the scene and is always on top of things. We could relax throughout the process knowing Gary always had everything under control. Real Estate transactions can be extremely stressful, but Gary took all the stress out of the process. He immediately gained our trust and confidence with his knowledge, poise, patience, and a SYSTEM that is unparalleled in the business. My wife and I have have extremely high standards and demand the best. Gary greatly exceeded those standards and always went the extra mile. On our next real estate transaction, we will not consider anyone but Gary whether we are buying or selling. We give him our highest unqualified recommendation and trust him like no other in the business. In simple terms, Gary is the BEST.
We recently decided to move our family from Smyrna, Georgia, where we have lived for the past 8 years, to Washington D.C. with our two young children, ages 4 and 2. There was no doubt in our minds that the right person to help sell our home was the same person who helped us buy that same home years before, Gary Mesnick. We were fortunate to have found Gary on Angie’s List, and even more fortunate to have had a great home-buying experience with him; he became a fast friend. Therefore, we called Gary immediately when we found out we were moving out-of-state. We certainly were not selling at the best of times – 2 weeks before Thanksgiving! I think many realtors would have laughed and put us off and told us to wait until January or February to place our home on the market. This was not Gary’s response. He listened and understood that we needed to sell our home in Georgia in order to have money for a down-payment on a new home in the far more expensive city we were moving to. Gary reassured us that he had sold homes during this time period and we would be able to do it too. He paid for and hired a “Stager” to help us organize and de-clutter our home – it looked like a magazine when we were finished. It was a lot of work but it was worth it! The Stager was just one member of Gary’s awesome team of talent. When you buy or sell a home with Gary, you are not just getting an amazing realtor who will look out for your needs, but you get the benefit of all of the people and services he has come to know and trust over the years – painters, stagers, financers, cleaners, appraisers, inspectors, etc. He really does know some awesome people who provide value-added services. We have been fortunate to take advantage of this over the years. Gary took us through the process of selling a home with a very organized Powerpoint presentation. He prepared several comps from our neighborhood. He did a lot of his work for us on the weekends and evenings. He answered all of our calls promptly. He called us almost daily as we were going through the process to check in and update us on various stages of the process – negotiations, offerts, etc. The very first family to whom we showed our home put in an excellent offer, which we accepted. There were then some minor negotiations over inspection items but, at the end of the day, it was one painless and smooth process in what was otherwise a complete whirlwind of stress and emotion – moving to another state with two small children, finishing two full time jobs, starting two new fulltime jobs and saying goodbye to a community we had lived in and loved for many years. It was an emotional and exhausting time. I often think if the sale of our home had not been as smooth, it would have been the straw that broke the camel’s back for me. I attribute this to Gary and his team and am eternally grateful. Finally, I have come to be in touch with the young family that purchased our home and we have been sharing news and information about their new community and they have been kind enough to facilitate the forwarding of our mail. I love the idea that a nice young family will grow up in that house that I love. I don’t think we would have this relationship were it not for Gary and his way of diplomatically working with other realtors to create a positive experience for everyone. He is such a nice, well meaning person and has so much integrity. You can’t go wrong with Gary!

Well Gary did it again!!! He was able to successfully sell our condo for full asking price in just a few days. He has to be one of the best in the industry! This is our second transaction with him in 5 months and he didn't disappoint. He is just a gem to work with. He's so knowledgeable, responsive and a great resource! I have recommended him to friends and will continue to do so! Can't go wrong with him!

Gary helped us buy a new home as well as sell our previous home. We loved having Gary as our realtor when we purchased our new home. He was so knowledgeable and very helpful throughout the whole process. He was very familiar with the area in which we purchased our new home and very patient as we toured potential homes. He was able to get us a great price on our house, which of course, made us very happy! When it came time to list our previous home there was no question about who would be the realtor to sell it! Gary did a wonderful job helping us get our house ready to sell. He knew that we wanted to sell it quickly, and that definitely happened! Within one HOUR of the the house being on the market, we received an outstanding offer. In less than 24 hours, we were under contract. To say that we were thrilled with that result would be an understatement! We are very grateful to Gary for how much he helped us! We couldn't have asked for anything more than what he did for us.
Gary Mesnick was my Realtor and he helped me sell my home. My personal situation is possibly a little different than others. My husband passed away, and after the estate was settled, I realized that I could not heal properly in the home we shared. I am not from Georgia, and due to the care my husband needed, I did not have a lot of spare time to make many friends or professional contacts. I felt very helpless and alone going into the process of putting up my home for sale. I chose to look for a Realtor on Angie's list as I had such good results from other professionals I had hired from this listing.Gary's reviews were incredible, and I agreed with his marketing strategy for selling homes. From the moment I contacted Gary to the day we sold my home, Gary demonstrated professionalism, honesty, a very caring and understanding attitude for me and my situation, help in obtaining the best professionals I needed when making necessary repairs to my home, patience with me in all of the questions that I would ask him, and his response time was always extremely quick via text message or telephone calls.I honestly could not have gotten through this period of my life without Gary's help. After I have had some time to heal, I will be calling Gary to help me find a new home. Thank you, again, Gary!
Gary both listed/sold my existing home and orchestrated the search for and purchase of my new home. Gary was professional, responsive and very pleasant to work with. He had a comprehensive plan for listing my old home - and he sold it for full price in three days! The professional photography that he arranged made all the difference in the world for the listing. He steered me easily through the sales process, providing constant communication and reminders to ensure that I met all deadlines. When it came to a home search, because my old home sold so quickly I was in a hurry to find a new place. Gary made his schedule fit mine - including around my work schedule, and thanks to his efforts I was able to find a new home in two weeks and closed in a month. He negotiated the sale and purchase well for me, and maintained a cordial relationship with the other realtors which also helped the process go smoothly. This is not my first real estate transaction, and I was leery after past experiences. Gary's methodical approach made it a top-notch experience, and even as I found some aspects emotional he kept an even keel, gently prodding when necessary and reminding me subtly when I was being unreasonable. All in all, he is everything that I want in a realtor, and I would absolutely use him again. Thanks!
Gary was very professional in all aspects of our business association. He was courteous, prompt and responsive to e-mails and phone calls. Even though we took quite a long time to find our house, he stuck with us and was always ready to show us more when we asked. We have a family association but are not related.
Purchasing a home can be a daunting task for anyone, particularly for first-time buyers like us in an unfamiliar city. We had just moved from Michigan and were looking to find a home as soon as possible. We were lucky to have a good friend in the Greater Atlanta area who recommended Gary to us based on his impressive rating/reviews on Angie's list. This was after I had spoken to a few other realtors who were not as responsive as Gary. We got in touch with Gary and right away he arranged a meeting for us where he explained his approach to the home-buying process and how we would have his VIP client services. Gary was very understanding of our anxieties as first-time homebuyers and walked us through each step making the entire process very smooth & easy.Gary ensured us that our preferences were first and foremost as part of the process. He let us drive the home search & selection stage and set us up for access to two very good resources (FMLS & Listing book website). This allowed us to search & browse multiple properties that fit our needs & preferences. We short-listed a number of homes each week over a 3 week period. And Gary would give us his time on weekdays as well as weekends from morning till evening until we had seen all the homes on our list. He was very considerate & courteous when we went to see homes taking breaks for lunch and also offering us water bottles on hot days. While seeing homes, Gary would gives us time to form our opinion/rating of the house based on our needs and then share his valuable feedback & point out issues (if any) with the house. Gary also shared little tidbits of information about what goes into building a house, for example - types of hardwood floors, sidings - all this was new information for us & very helpful to know. We finally decided on a house of our liking which was a new construction and closed on it prior to our deadline, thanks to Gary. Gary also made helpful recommendations for trusted lenders and we had a great experience working with one of them. He also shared his trusted vendor list from carpenters to insurance agents and everyone in between. When it came to communication, Gary is always there for his clients - whether it is a quick update call or to check up on things (even after moving into our new home!). Gary made sure that we were always posted on developments with reminders of the next appointment or item needed. As he has been in the industry for a number of years, he is an expert on the greater Atlanta area and does an excellent job of researching for comps when deciding on an offer price. Our friends (recent home-buyers) who met Gary on one of our home-viewing weekends were very impressed by Gary's industry expertise & how he worked. At the end of the process, we were extremely glad that we had found Gary. He made us feel very comfortable throughout the process and by the end, he had also become a friend who we can rely on for any future advice as homeowners. After we moved into our home Gary gave us a quick call to check how everything was going and if we needed help with anything. Gary indeed works as a partner with your best interests at heart and not merely as an agent for whom you are just a case number. This way he made us feel as if we were the only clients he was working with - a truly VIP experience! You will get a very personalized experience, excellent support & industry expertise and on top of it, a class act & a great guy to work with. We strongly recommend Gary for your home-buying process. Home buying is complicated enough- having the right person to help you makes an enormous difference!
Awesome, attentive, professional and highly recommended. Gary knows the market and advises in a complete and sensitive manner. He understands that this is a business transaction, but balances this with the emotional attachment that is required with home selection. He focuses on you and what you want. His approach is simple, yet highly effective. He listens, guides and helps the decision-making process. He follows up, even sometime after the sale he remains interested and wants to be sure you are happy. A rare find we can't recommend him enough.
Gary is the best agent I could have worked with in Atlanta. He was very professional and educated me in making a decision. His commitment to look out for my interests was very evident. I was very impressed and reassured in the manner all the documents were filed and corrections done in a due time. He has continued to look out for our transition into our new home and also understand its upkeep. Most important I came out feeling good about my decision. I would definitely recommend Gary to anyone who wants to buy a home that they will love.
I have had the pleasure of working of Gary recently for a house I bought in Alpharetta. Although I did not know him before our venture, he was outstanding in his service and made me feel very comfortable with the whole process from looking for a house to closing and after. He put me in no pressure at all from the very beginning to buy or close any house. In fact, Gary used all his experience to not follow through on some of the houses because of the conditions they were in.He always mentions, his service never ends with the closing of the house and the relationship extends beyond and after the purchase of the house. He has stayed true to his words, and whenever I have had problems with the house, he has been more than willing to offer me advice and solutions. He has wealth of knowledge and experience about the house. From the time I put an offer and closed the house, he was well on top of everything needed, and kept me abreast. He had every detail in the contract worked out, making me feel very confident in everything I had to do during negotiations. He went above and beyond his professional responsibilities to make sure everything went smooth, and was on track. I have nothing but praise for and trust in Gary for his enduring service and friendship, and absolutely no hesitation in recommending anyone who is looking for houses.
Gary was wonderful to work with- stuck with us through 3 offers (first 2 fell through due to seller’s issues- Gary’s professional, thorough management kept us from losing any earnest money). He is extremely responsive, quick to return calls and texts, and highly knowledgeable. We had difficulties with sellers and bankers throughout the process, and Gary helped us navigate it all smoothly. Can’t say enough good things!
When we decided to buy a home here in Georgia, First we started searching in different web sites like Zillow, Trulia and read different blogs and sure we were so confused. Then a friend of ours referred Mr. Gary.We spoke with Gary over the phone and he arranged a meeting at Panera. He spend an hour explaining his background and educated us about the whole process of home buying .We asked lot of questions about home buying process, issues etc., He clarified us so patiently and kindly. We were satisfied and selected Gary as our real estate agent.Once we decided go with Gary, he setup an account in Listing book, FMLS web sites which has all resources at one place to research about the house, its location, neighborhood, schools, etc.We reviewed the houses in those websites and shortlisted 5 to 7 houses to visit each time. Once we shortlisted, we informed Gary about them. He promptly responded and scheduled visits as early as possible. It was quicker than we expected and we always wondered how Gary was able to schedule the visits so quickly. He kept us informed about issues up front. We have seen several houses and Gary was so patient showing all the houses. No pressure and no pushy. After the tour of every home, Gary will ask for feedback of the home and He used to provide his feedback as well. His feedback was very useful and informative. We were very confident that we are in right direction of choosing a right home. Gary’s professional knowledge and experience helped us make correct decisions. We learned a lot from Gary.
After six months of searching for a new house in our home city of Boston, my fiancé Sarah and I had just about given up hope. We were expecting our first child and had completely outgrown our apartment. Real estate in Boston meant either buying a hundred-year-old house in desperate need of a complete overhaul, or a multi-million-dollar brownstone. After some deep soul-searching Sarah and I decided to relocate to Atlanta to be closer to family and take advantage of the improved state of the school system from what we had available in Boston.Gary Mesnick of Maximum One Realty was given to us as a referral from our relatives, and from start to finish he gave us the white glove treatment. We were 1,100 miles away from where we wanted to buy, but Gary treated us with the same attention to detail as if we were already neighbors. Using the online tools he made available to us we vetted hundreds of properties, sent him a list of 80 we wanted to walk through, and booked a weekend flight to Georgia. When we arrived Gary had a complete itinerary laid out based on location and how we rated the houses from what we saw in the photos. He picked us up in the morning, took us through the properties, asked us to rate each, and at the end of each day assessed where things stood and made suggestions for what to do next.By the end of the weekend trip we had found our dream home, put in our offer, and hopped on the flight back to Boston. By the time we got off the plane our offer had been accepted and we were on our way to being Georgia residents.Between offer acceptance and closing Gary was right there with us, explained every step, checked in with us along the way, and made everything as smooth as possible. We are very grateful for his expertise, his professionalism, and is indefatigable drive. We will use Gary and Maximum One Realty for every real estate transition for as long as we’re living in Georgia.Thank you Gary for making this a wonderful experience!
